Terms of Service

Riishta lets you create a marriage biodata page from the details you provide and share it via a private link, free of charge. You can also download it as a PDF and image — included on paid plans, or a one-time ₹49 unlock on the free plan. By using Riishta you agree to these terms.

You must be at least 18 years old to create a biodata. You confirm that the information and photos you submit are about you (or someone who has clearly asked you to create the biodata on their behalf and consented to it) and that you have the right to share them.

You must not upload content that is false, defamatory, obscene, infringing, or that impersonates another person. We may remove any profile that we believe breaks these rules or Indian law, without notice.

Every payment on Riishta is a one-time purchase processed by Razorpay — there are no subscriptions or recurring charges. Prices are shown before you pay. Templates are never paid; all designs are free on every plan. What you can pay for is a plan (Shagun or Shagun Max), a hosting extension, or the ₹49 PDF + image download unlock.

The ₹49 download unlock applies to one biodata. It covers both the PDF and the image and does not expire while that biodata is hosted. On the free plan the downloaded files carry a small Riishta watermark — removing the watermark is a paid-plan feature, and this is stated before you pay.

Because the product is delivered digitally and immediately (your biodata is generated, or your files unlocked, the moment payment succeeds), payments are generally non-refundable. If something went wrong — you were charged but no biodata was created, or your download did not unlock — contact us within 7 days and we will make it right with a fix or a full refund.

Each plan includes a fixed hosting period (30 days on Free, longer on paid plans). After expiry the public page stops being served. We may permanently delete expired data after a grace period.

How we handle your data is described in our Privacy Policy. In short: your data is used only to render and share your biodata, and you can delete it at any time with your edit link.

Riishta is a tool for creating and sharing documents. We do not verify the accuracy of any biodata, are not a matchmaking service, and are not responsible for interactions between people who share or receive biodata links. The service is provided "as is"; to the maximum extent permitted by law our total liability is limited to the amount you paid us.

We may update these terms; continued use after an update means you accept the new terms. These terms are governed by the laws of India.
