Privacy Policy

When you create a biodata, we store the information you enter in the form — such as your name, date of birth, family details, contact details, partner preferences — and the photos you upload. We also record a consent timestamp and basic usage data (page view counts on your biodata).

We do not require an account, and we do not collect passwords or login data.

Your information is used for exactly one purpose: rendering your marriage biodata page and its PDF/image downloads so you can share it with people you choose. We do not sell your data, show ads, or use your data for marketing.

Your biodata page is reachable by anyone who has its unique link. The link contains a long random code that cannot be guessed, and we tell search engines not to index biodata pages. Share the link only with people you trust.

Vanity URLs (Shagun Max plan): if you claim a short link such as riishta.in/your-name, that address is deliberately guessable — anyone who knows your name may be able to find the page directly. It is entirely opt-in, your original private link keeps working, and claiming one automatically keeps your contact details private behind a request. You can remove it anytime.

On paid plans you can keep your phone/email private and require visitors to request them. When someone sends a request we store the name, contact, and optional message they provide, so you can decide whether to respond. These requests are automatically deleted after 90 days, and are removed immediately if you delete your biodata.

We use a small number of processors to run the service:

• Cloudinary — stores your uploaded photos.
• Razorpay — processes payments for paid plans. We never see or store your card/UPI details.
• Hosting & database providers — run our servers and store biodata data securely.

Your biodata is hosted for the period included in your plan (30 days on Free, longer on paid plans). After expiry, the public page stops working. You can delete your biodata at any time using your private edit link — deletion removes the page, the stored data, and your photos permanently.

Using your private edit link you can view, correct, or delete everything you gave us, at any time, without asking us. If you have lost your edit link or want us to remove something, contact us and we will help.
